Stay WiFi Safe on your holidays
In a time when remote work, cloud services, and mobile business are the norm, a well-secured Wi-Fi environment is a basic requirement for professional operations. An unsecured network is essentially an open invitation for others to access business data and private information.
A strong Wi-Fi setup starts with a neutral network name (SSID) that does not reveal anything about the equipment or organization, combined with a strong, unique password based on a long passphrase. In combination with modern encryption (WPA2/WPA3), separate guest networks, and up-to-date router firmware, the network remains reliable for employees, clients, and partners.
This is also important outside the office: when traveling or on holiday, it is advisable to connect only to properly secured public hotspots, preferably with a VPN, or to use a personal mobile connection instead.
Wi-Fi security is an essential part of professional digital behavior.
