In 2005, dashboards were still a novelty. BI was dominated by static reports, Excel sheets, and printed listings.

Today, BI is real-time, interactive, cloud-native, and increasingly AI-driven. Tools like Amazon QuickSight bring automated insights, anomaly detection, natural language querying, and ML-powered forecasting directly into dashboards—making analytics faster, smarter, and more accessible than ever.

Over the past two decades, I’ve built and improved hundreds of dashboards—from small demos to enterprise-grade systems processing tens of millions of rows. They support KPI tracking, operational monitoring, cloud integrations, and real-time insights.

The biggest shift? BI became business-driven.
Users no longer wait for reports—they explore data themselves, assisted by AI that helps them understand patterns, trends, and exceptions instantly.

What remains constant is the goal: turning data into understanding, and understanding into action.
